Our Story
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about creating safe, nurturing spaces for children—a passion deeply rooted in my own experiences with childhood trauma. I know firsthand how vital it is for children to feel secure, valued, and free to learn without fear. That belief led me to build Honey Bee Academy, a place where little ones could grow, explore, and thrive in an environment filled with love, learning, and laughter.
For the past 12 years, I’ve dedicated my life to providing that space—not just for children, but also for the families and educators who support them. With 26+ years of experience as a parent and childcare professional, I’ve learned that creating a thriving, high-quality childcare program requires more than just passion—it requires knowledge, guidance, and a strong community.
That’s why I launched Honey Bee Academy & Consulting—to ensure that both new and experienced childcare providers have access to the tools, mentorship, and support they need to build sustainable, enriching programs. My mission is simple: to help others create safe, inspiring spaces where children and caregivers alike can succeed.
